Breakfast for your head... Students did a great job on their first book reports. The commercials were very entertaining and enticing. I think we have some future advertising executives in our midst. Thanks for your support at home.

Next book report is myth, fable, or folklore. I will post the directions and example soon, as well as give the students a copy. We will also compare and contrast some of these stories in class, and reflect on how some of these traditional stories help shape our cultural sense of morality. Our reading theme and big question this unit is "what makes people want to do the right thing?".Please have family discussions about this topic at home too.
